I was first introduced to John Bennett via a electrical contractor. I was looking for a professional painter to paint entrance signs to an HOA community in which I oversee as an administrator. Mr. Bennett did an excellent job in preparation and finishing. Community residents remarked on the excellent job and as a result his company picked up additional work from community residents.
Since then I have used John's Company on other projects which I have overseen and work product was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

John Bennett and his fine team painted our new home in 2008. We challenged John with wainscoting to match custom cabinetry, a stained cedar cathedral ceiling, crown molding throughout and multiple colors for walls and ceilings. John's work was superb in every way and always draws compliments from our guests. We will certainly call on John for our future painting needs and highly recommend his company.

As an out-of-state owner of a Rehoboth Beach vacation rental home, I rely on quality contractors to help manage and take care of my home. It is rare that I find a person like John Bennett in whom I feel I have the utmost confidence that he will do what he says, understands my needs and constraints, and do it within the financial and time parameters we've agreed upon.
I have called upon John Bennett more than just once, and have plans to do so many times again. He and his crew are a tremendously professional team of painting contractors, do excellent prep work, keeping my home clean and free of debris at all times. Their attention to detail is second-to-none, and he always keeps me apprised of any issues worthy of my attention. And best of all, the finished product always garners rave reviews from my guests!
John Bennett is a true professional, and a trusted member of my inner-circle of contractors helping me to manage my rental property from halfway across the United States.

This letter is in support of the work of John Bennett Inc. Painting. I have used the services of John Bennett painting for two jobs - each which presented differing challenges. Each job was executed professionally.
The first job was St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Little Creek Hundred, Laurel, Delaware. The church was built in 1857. It was closed by the Diocese of Delaware in 1963 for regular services but remains a consecrated Episcopal Church. While it is not open, for regular services, it is cared for by the families of those who are buried at the church. Repairs were needed prior to painting and it was essential that we preserve the interior - both the integrity of the walls and the color. In working with Mr. Bennett, we received a detailed bid for the work that was going to be done; a clear delineation of the boundaries of the work; and a firm price. We also received a firm projected start and end date. This job was relatively simple from the standpoint that the committee merely had to prepare the church for Mr. Bennett's entry by putting things away. Mr. Bennett and his crew came at the time promised, performed the contract as promised, using top quality paint and repair techniques. As questions arose, he consulted in a timely manner. The price charged was exactly as stated in the estimate.

The second job that Mr. Bennett bid was on three buildings at my home. The home, located in Little Creek Hundred, was built in the 1860's. Estimating this job was not as easy as there was a porch to remove and siding to remove in order to restore the home to its former construction. I received a detailed bid for the work that was going to be done; a clear delineation of the boundaries of the work; and as firm a price as could be determined from what Mr. Bennett could see at that stage of the renovation. We also received a firm projected start date. In this case, the major contractor became ill, one sub contractor was let go so the job was off in timing. Throughout all of this Mr. Bennett was able to work around the delays and get the job done.
As with St. Mark's, he used top quality paint. In this job, there was a problem with paint appearing not to cover -and when this was mentioned, it was immediately corrected. The crew cleaned up the site each day and completely after the job.
For anyone who is looking for top quality paint preparation and execution, I would recommend using John Bennett Inc.
Sincerely,

I recently had John Bennett supervises the entire finishing of my basement in our shore house in Rehoboth Beach.
It was a $40K job. Drywall, painting, drop ceiling, and full bathroom installed. The project includes 4 new rooms.
I have known John for 7 years. /the previous 3 jobs were painting and wall paper, which are his specialty. But the drywall and drop ceiling are done in typical John Bennett fashion. His work is beyond peer. His integrity speaks volume. You get what you pay for every time.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOHN BENNETT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR TIMELY COMPLETION, FAIR PRICES, AND A WORK ETHIC SECOND TO NONE.
