Company History

John Bennett began painting in 1978 and learned from a great mentor — Mr. Howard Short of Georgetown, DE. With Mr. Short’s blessing (and help), John started his own business in 1979. John Bennett started to paint homes in the neighborhoods of Sussex County DE. Since that time, John Bennett, Inc. has grown into a “leader in the residential painting industry.” John Bennett, Inc. is a business founded on the basic principles of integrity, value and a commitment to customer service.
Since 1979 he has learned how to apply nearly every coating on the market. John and his crews have painted everything from:

• houses to chicken houses
• sewer projects to schools
• 200 foot high grain elevators to million dollar homes
